From the Principal

Last week many classes got started with their new buddies. This is a photo of our kindergarteners and fifth graders who did a “walk and talk” as they got acquainted.

The Friends of Cutler put on a wonderful, successful movie night on Friday. Autumn chill, Buzz Lightyear and popcorn! Such fun!

Today we welcomed Cynthia Kreyling who started at Cutler as our new Monday/ Wednesday music teacher. She will support the following classes: Mrs. Pinciaro, Mrs. Hanson, Mrs. Duffy, Ms. Decoteau, Mrs. Drinkwater and Mrs. Gray. She will be a wonderful addition to our school, and we are grateful to have her!

Last June, the Cutler Friends Group allocated money for our Mobile Book Cart. This book collection was curated with a lens of Culturally Responsive practices and includes books that provide “windows and mirrors” into many cultures.  Teachers have already started borrowing these titles to incorporate into their classrooms.

From Lynne Nardella, Health Office News

The Health Office is looking for gently used boys' and girls' leggings sweatpants, and underwear.  Please think of us when cleaning out clothes for the winter.  You can send them in or drop them off at the front office or the nurse's office.  We especially need girls' leggings. Thank you!

And, as above, please review your child's health record in Aspen (see above)!

A BIG thank you to Movie Night chairs Tara LaSelva and Kelly Schmidt and volunteers Marie Hersey and Laura Studley for organizing Cutler’s Annual Movie Night! It was such a great night under the stars. Thanks to Laura Allen and Erin Bilenchi for contributing snacks for the treat bags!
