Dear Cutler Families,

Welcome Back! It was an absolute pleasure greeting children on the playground this past Tuesday and we had a great day. Our kindergarteners joined us Wednesday and they are already getting into learning routines. The heat was difficult, but we are hoping for more normal weather moving forward.

This year our theme is “We Belong” and we are already working toward creating a sense of belonging. Many new students received Cutler t-shirts (waiting on some sizes to come in to complete distribution), and we look forward to getting t-shirts to all students. This will allow us to have Cutler days where everyone wears a shirt. We have some exciting community events planned, starting today with a 4th and 5th grade grounds clean-up. And, of course we all look forward to welcoming you on September 20th for our Ice Breaker evening at 5pm. You will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, and enjoy ice cream!

*If your child will be absent, please call the Safe Arrival Line at 978-468-8472.

*If you have a change in dismissal plans, please send a written note to your child's teacher or email your child's teacher with a cc to Mary Cadle at m.cadle@hwschools.net.  Include the date, your child's first and last name, their usual bus number (if applicable), and the planned change.  Here is a link for a dismissal plan change form, if this is easier for you:  Dismissal Plan Change

*If you have an unexpected change in dismissal, please call the office at 978-468-5330, preferably by 1:30 p.m.  Teachers do not always check their emails during the school day, so please do not rely on emails if there is an unexpected change in plans.

*It is a good idea with any communication to cc m.cadle@hwschools.net.  If you email regarding an absence or any health-related issues, please cc d.budds@hwschools.net as well.
