From the Principal:

Dear Cutler Families,

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Ice Breaker evening this Wednesday from 5-7. The classrooms will be open from 5-6. We will have a table set up in the lobby ready for CORI checks. These need to be completed every 3 years, and are required to volunteer in classrooms. Please take advantage of this on Wednesday evening.

Last Monday, September 11th, we had a grounds clean-up with our 4th and 5th graders. They made some great progress, with the help of parent volunteers, cleaning up some overgrown flower beds. I am grateful for everyone’s efforts.

Just a couple of reminders as we get back into the swing of things this year:

We don’t allow technology from home in our classrooms. Students will be asked to put any smart watches or phones in their backpacks during the school day. Thank you for your support with this.

It is important that our live pick-up line remain fluid and safe. If you need to get out of the car in order to load your child into the car, please park. All students should be independent when getting into the car. Also, please only load the car on the driver’s side of the vehicle in order to avoid kiddos walking around the vehicles. It is important to share this message with any additional caretakers picking children up (babysitters, grandparents, etc). Thank you for your support in keeping the car pick-up line safe!

I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday evening.

Warmly,
Juliana

From the Office:
*If your child will be absent, please call the Safe Arrival Line at 978-468-8472.
*If you have a change in dismissal plans, please send a written note to your child's teacher or email your child's teacher with a cc to Mary Cadle at m.cadle@hwschools.net. Include the date, your child's first and last name, their usual bus number (if applicable), and the planned change
*If you have an unexpected change in dismissal, please call the office at 978-468-5330, preferably by 1:30 p.m. Teachers do not always check their emails during the school day, so please do not rely on emails if there is an unexpected change in plans.
*It is a good idea with any communication to cc m.cadle@hwschools.net. If you email regarding an absence or any health-related issues, please cc d.budds@hwschools.net as well.

From the Counselor:

School Photos Assistance

Your student should have brought home the information regarding school pictures which will take place on Tuesday, September, 19th. O'Connor Studios has given us vouchers for a #7  photo package for those families who otherwise would not be able to participate. If this is something you would like, please reach out to me directly (a.creilson@hwschools.net) and I will place the voucher in your students picture envelope on picture day. Nothing else is needed from you. Please know that all children have their photo taken on picture day and all families are provided a group photo whether you place an order or not.

Warmly,

Ann Creilson
