School Council

We are looking for two parents interested in serving on the Cutler School Council. School Council reviews school improvement plans and school goals, as well as other issues relevant to daily operations.  Meetings are held five times during the school year.  Please send an email to Jenn Clifford at if interested.

School Picture Date Change Reminder
School picture day is now on Wednesday, October 16th. Envelopes from O'Connor Studios will go home soon.  Please note that if there are financial concerns around ordering photos, please contact Ann Creilson via email,

We recommend completing the CORI form found here  and on the Cutler website under the "For Parents" side tab if you are interested in chaperoning field trips or being a volunteer.  There is no cost to the CORI and it is a quick process. Simply bring the completed form to the Cutler office and Mrs. Parker will take a copy of your driver's license.  CORI's are good for 3 years.  If you would like to chaperone on field trips, then you will need to have fingerprinting done through this link. The information about fingerprinting is also on the website. Fingerprinting has a one time fee for volunteers and never expires.  Any questions, please call the office. Thank you!

Halloween Parade
Mark your calendars...our annual kindergarten-grade 2 Halloween parade will take place on October 31 at 9am! This event is weather the case of inclement weather, it will be cancelled (we have had hurricanes and snowstorms before...let's hope for sunny skies this year!).

  • Parents are invited to the front driveway to cheer on their costumed children. K-2 children should come dressed in as much of their costume as possible, with the rest in a labeled bag. Since costumes will not be worn for the remainder of the day, be sure your child has an appropriate change of clothing.  Please remember to emphasize non-violent costumes, with no weapons, gore or blood. Halloween School-Wide DEAM (Drop Everything and Move) will directly follow the parade outside on the hill.

New (optional) after school activity for students in grades 3-5
Would your third, fourth or fifth grader like to participate in a new after school program?
The focus will be on “Making a Difference” by supporting: Veterans, needy children, the elderly or animals in shelters. Our goal will be to have fun while making a positive impact in our community and beyond. Mrs. Ahearn and Mrs. Grassin will be leading this program. We will meet on Tuesdays from 3-4 p. m. about 6 times this year. (Parents are responsible for transportation at 4:00.) There is no fee but we may ask for donations at times. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 21.
If your child is interested in participating, please have them get a permission slip in the office to sign and return before the first meeting.
