ALICE presentation for parents will be held this Wednesday, September 25, at the H-W Regional High School at 6:30pm. Local police, fire, and school administrators will be on hand to present information about the ALICE Active Shooter Response System and answer your questions. Join us to learn what the district has done to date and the plans for future training and practice in our schools. The expectation for ALICE response in the PreK-5 schools will be specific to teaching children to listen to any adult(s) in the room.  Stop, look, and listen will be the focus for elementary student practice, as it is for all types of emergency drills.

Friendly Reminder
Please remember to fill out the Generic Permission Slip that went home recently.  Here is another copy of the form.  Thank you!

We publish the Cutler School "News to Use" at the start of each week here at and will email the link every Monday afternoon. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

We recommend completing the CORI form found here  and on the Cutler website under the "For Parents" side tab if you are interested in chaperoning field trips or being a volunteer.  There is no cost to the CORI and it is a quick process. Simply bring the completed form to the Cutler office and Mrs. Parker will take a copy of your driver's license.  CORI's are good for 3 years.  If you would like to chaperone on field trips, then you will need to have fingerprinting done through this link. The information about fingerprinting is also on the website. Fingerprinting has a one time fee for volunteers and never expires.  Any questions, please call the office. Thank you!

New (optional) after school activity for students in grades 3-5
Would your third, fourth or fifth grader like to participate in a new after school program?
The focus will be on “Making a Difference” by supporting: Veterans, needy children, the elderly or animals in shelters. Our goal will be to have fun while making a positive impact in our community and beyond. Mrs. Ahearn and Mrs. Grassin will be leading this program. We will meet on Tuesdays from 3-4 p. m. about 6 times this year. (Parents are responsible for transportation at 4:00.) There is no fee but we may ask for donations at times. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 21.
If your child is interested in participating, please have them get a permission slip in the office to sign and return before the first meeting.
