Classroom Teacher Assignments
Students will be able to learn their classroom teacher assignment for next year on the report cards released on the last day of school into Aspen. For now, we are planning on all teachers remaining at the same grade levels with the exceptions of Ms. Valentine will move to fifth grade, Mrs. Adamik will move to first grade, and Ms. Stueve will move to second grade.
A Message from Mrs. McIlvaine-
Calling all Cutler Families!!! Please consider becoming a "Welcoming Family" as we think about helping new students and families join our school community for the 2018-19 school year. This is a fun way to get involved with a minimal commitment. In mid August, WelcomingFamilies will be assigned a family who will be new to Cutler School next year. The primary role of a welcoming family would be to reach out via phone and email to offer help in getting settled in at Cutler and the greater Hamilton/Wenham community. There will also be a few meetings scheduled throughout the year that we would ask you to attend as you are able.
If you are interested, please email Dolly McIlvaine as soon as possible firstname.lastname@example.org the following information:
Current Students and grade level
Home and cell numbers
Please contact Dolly if you have any questions: 978-468-8475
End of year planning
While we hope to have students with us through the last day of school, if you know that your child(ren) will finish school prior to the last day, please let Katie Parker know. We would like to be able to plan to have their completed work ready for them to take with them. Similarly, if your family is moving out of the district over the summer, please let Katie know so we can be sure to get records to your new school district in a timely manner.
Please see this link for information about a special Friends of the Arts event coming up at the HW Library.

Cultural Enrichment:The committee wasexcited to bring Project Adventure back to Cutler School TODAY Monday, June 11. Project Adventure has been working with young people in the field of Adventure Education since 1971.
Our students worked in their classroom groups with a lead facilitator from Project Adventure. The groups worked on initiatives or problem-solving activities. Our groups only had a short time for this program, but these activities lend themselves to camaraderie among participants, self-discovery of leadership styles, and communication in a group. Through creative and cooperative problem-solving activities, students had the opportunity to have an experience, reflect on their performance, refine their process, and work towards excellence. This is the idea behind the Experiential Learning Cycle, and it’s a lot of fun!
Possible questions for your child:
* What helps you be successful in a group?
* What might you think if you aren't successful on the first or second try?
